Looking for an affordable adjustable PSU for the hobbyist, then this kit will fit right in. A truly nice adjustable PSU with easy construction for the beginner and experienced constructor alike. If you intend to run this supply with a load of over 1 amp at low output voltage for extended periods of time a much bigger heat sink is a must, otherwise the regulator will go into thermal shutdown. You can add a Volt and Amp meter and a multi-turn pot (10-turn), to make this kit a really useful addition to your lab bench.
All additional components needed to make this into a really nice bench PSU can be obtained from Yebo electronics as well.
