DIY Jaws of Life Project
Build a fun mini Jaws of Life using ice-cream sticks, screws, and cable ties! The ice-cream sticks form two moving arms connected with small screws so the “jaws” can open and close. A simple push-and-pull stick at the back (made from tubes or syringes) gives the jaws their movement—just like the real rescue tool. It’s an easy, hands-on project that shows how levers and linkages work while kids learn about emergency rescue equipment.
