School Projects: Electromagnet (ANY01I)

These pre-packed kits are a fun and easy way to learn about electronics. They are perfect for use in schools.

BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED

This kit shows how an electromagnet works. It includes:

• A battery holder (battery not included)

• Copper wire

• A screw or nail (used as the magnet core)

• Extra wire

When you press the switch, electricity flows through the wire. This turns the screw or nail into a magnet, which can attract small metal objects.
